Arsenal have won four of their last five games. The win against Burnley on Sunday saw them move up to fourth in the table and they are now just a point behind defending champions, Chelsea.
Newly promoted Huddersfield Town have lost three of their last five games and sit 11th in the table. Their most recent defeat was at home to Manchester City where they played well and were unlucky to lose.
Mesut Ozil missed the victory against Burnley through illness. He trained with the team today and will be assessed. Alex Iwobi has a dead leg and might be unavailable. Santi Cazorla is the only long-term absentee.
Rajiv van La Parra begins his three-game suspension following his straight red card after the final whistle in Sunday’s defeat against Man City. Long-term absentees Philip Billing (Ankle), Michael Hefele (Knee) and Jon Gorenc Stanković (Achilles) remain sidelined.
This will be the first Premier League meeting between the sides. Even though Huddersfield have made a good start to life in the top flight, I don’t think they will be overcome Arsenal. The Gunners have won their last 11 consecutive games at the Emirates and I expect that to continue. My prediction is Arsenal 2-0 Huddersfield Town.
