Recent Form
Burnley have made an excellent start to the season and are currently level on points with Arsenal and Liverpool. After a 3-0 defeat against league leaders Manchester City, Burnley have won their last three games against Newcastle, Southampton and Swansea. In those three games, they scored five goals and kept three clean sheets.
Arsenal beat their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 last weekend before losing to Cologne in the Europa League. The Gunners are sixth and need a win to keep up with the top four.
Team News
Chris Wood is available for Burnley after missing the victory against Swansea due to fatigue after being on international duty with New Zealand.
Tom Heaton (shoulder), Dean Marney (knee) and Jon Walters (knee) are still out of action with injuries.
Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck is in contention after recovering from a groin injury and playing for 45 minutes against Cologne in mid-week.
Prediction
Arsenal have been fortunate to beat Burnley in the last two meetings between the sides. Burnley have been brilliant this season and will not make things easy for Arsenal but my prediction is Burnley 1-2 Arsenal.
