Manchester City are the only unbeaten team in the league. They have been in fantastic form in the first 10 games, collecting 28 points from a possible 30. The next goal Man City score will be their 50th of the season. They are powerful in attack, strong in defence and seemingly unstoppable.
Arsenal have won their last two Premier League matches (Everton and Swansea) following the 2-1 defeat by Watford. However, the victory against Swansea was less than convincing and highlighted Arsenal’s defensive frailties once again.
Man City do not have any new injury concerns. Their long-standing absentees are Benjamin Mendy and captain Vincent Kompany.
Arsenal are still without Shkodran Mustafi, Santi Cazorla, Danny Welbeck and Calum Chambers. Sead Kolasinac should recover from a hip injury to start against Man City.
As much as I’d love Arsenal to become the first team to beat Man City, I just can’t see it happening. Pep Guardiola’s side have too much firepower for Arsenal to contain. My prediction is Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal.
